rushIMPRINT Canada is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers. This Privacy Policy describes how we treat and protect your information.

We may modify or update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will become effective upon posting to the Site. Your use of the Site following these changes means that you accept the revised Privacy Policy. If we make significant changes to this Privacy Policy, we may notify you of those changes.

This Privacy Policy applies only to rushimprint.ca (the “Site”). If our Site provides links to other websites, be advised that rushIMPRINT Canada is not responsible for the content of such other unrelated sites. Any links are provided merely as a convenience to our users. When you follow a link to another unrelated site, you are no longer on our site and this Privacy Policy will not apply. When you follow a link to an unrelated site, you are subject to the Privacy Policy of that site.

Information We Collect

When you visit the Site, we may collect certain information that may be capable of identifying you, either directly or indirectly (“Personal Information”). For instance, if you browse, read content, or download information from the Site, we may gather and store:

rushIMPRINT Canada utilizes certain entities to perform specific functions. These functions include emails, order fulfillment, shipping and delivery of packages, mail and email address verification, credit card processing services, and research to improve the quality of service we provide. We may need to disclose the Personal Information to these entities in connection with these services but will only do so when and to the extent necessary to perform their functions on our behalf.

We do not sell Personal Information or share it with others for advertising purposes.

We do not process payment information. We tokenize credit card information immediately upon collection and send the tokenized information to a vendor who processes the payment on our behalf. We do not store encrypted or unencrypted credit card number..

Data Transfer & Retention

We transfer and store information relating to the Site, including any Personal Information collected through the Site, in servers located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in the United States. If legally required, the Personal Information may therefore be accessible to the courts, law enforcement and national security authority of the United States and/or Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. By using the Site or otherwise communicating with us, you agree to have your Personal Information transferred to and stored in the United States.

Unless otherwise legally required, we will keep all records, including Personal Information, for only as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, but in no event longer than 7 years. We will delete information in our records after 7 years without further notice to you. We may therefore need to recollect Personal Information if you visit or engage with the Site after that.

Security

We use reasonable physical, technological and organizational measures to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized or unlawful access, use, loss, destruction or damage. For instance, to protect the privacy of all visitors to the Site, all sales transactions are encrypted with SSL (secure sockets layer) technology. The servers on which Personal Information may be stored are secured behind firewalls and require login credentials to access. Any disclosure of Personal Information to our service providers is provided only on a need-to-know basis and for the limited purpose of the services they provide. Any sensitive Personal Information, such as credit card numbers, are encrypted upon collection and not stored. Please do not give us credit card information by email as it is not secure.

Unfortunately, data transmission on the Internet can never be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, and thus we cannot fully eliminate all security risks connected to handling information on the Internet.

Electronic Communication

When you access our Site or send emails to us, you are communicating with us electronically and consenting to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by email or by posting notices via our Site. To help us make emails more useful and interesting, we may receive a confirmation when you open email from us if your computer supports such capabilities. Children Under the Age Of 14

Our products and the Site are not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect or solicit Personal Information from, children under the age of 14. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under the age of 14 we will delete that information. Under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and/or provincial privacy laws, you have certain privacy rights regarding your Personal Information. These rights may include:

  • Right of access: You can request in writing details about your personal information that we process, such as the types of personal information we have, how we use it, and a list of organizations to which your personal information has been disclosed, subject to the limitations and exemptions set out in applicable laws and regulations.

  • Right to correct: At your request, we will correct incomplete or inaccurate parts of your personal information, and when appropriate, transmit the amended information to other organizations (such as service providers) to whom we have disclosed the original information.

If you no longer want to receive electronic newsletters, marketing communications, and other communications from us about other products or services we offer, you can click on the “unsubscribe” link available in each email or contact us at the email or phone number at the end of this Policy and request to be removed from our email marketing database.

We will comply with your request(s) as soon as reasonably practicable. Please also note that if you opt-out of receiving marketing-related messages from us, we may still send you important administrative messages as part of your ongoing use of the Site or our services.

Other than credit card information, we ask that you not send us or disclose sensitive personal information (e.g., information related to racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religion or other beliefs, health or medical information, financial account information, information of minors under 14 years of age, criminal background or trade union membership), either through the Site or directly.
